High School football

I love a good, hometown football game...about once a year. Ev took Hy and I a couple of Fridays ago to Ely's home game against Laughlin (no, I have no idea where Laughlin, NV even is--some of their games are 13 hours away!). Logan Center is one of Ev's young men and he plays relief quarterback. He even made a touchdown! We got to sit by his parents and younger brothers during the game.

Ev's favorite part: the hamburger & nachos.
Hy's favorite part: the bobcat mascot (and he let us know that he was severely disappointed that he didn't get to meet said bobcat mascot).
My favorite part: the nostalgia of being at a H.S. football game....and gabbing with Heather.

My bikes...yippee!!!

I've really gotten excited about biking for the past few months. Ask Evan. Poor guy. I drove him nuts talking about it. And since it was too expensive to buy a bike on sale a month ago, I came home with two bikes last weekend. Why? Sometime, when you're bored, I'll tell you about it. Until then, realize that I'm slightly obsessive and plan to sell one.

And so, without further adieu (did I say that right?), this is Ruby....and this is Lexa.I've gone on a few short rides. Love them.
And while I was posing for the pics, Riley decided to climb on Hy's trike for a few pics of her own :)

It's rather funny to be driving down the road and suddenly she yells and I look back there and she's sleeping again. Must have gotten it from her father.

My new "thing"

I want one of thesereallllly badly, so I can do one of these

next spring. Like I have been obsessing about it lately. Crazy? Definitely. Will it happen? Don't know but I'm hoping to do a beginner triathlon next March. What do you think? Anyone want to join me?

Combine Ride

Ever since JC "just happened to mention" to Hy about Poppa's new combine, Hyrum HAD TO GO to Poppa's. Ev got a little time off before the fall work starts, so we decided to go up to Idaho and Utah and visit some family/friends.

Cousins!!

We were able to visit Ann and Ben and Olivia. We dropped off a puppy and took a corgi to Mom. We went to Janeen's retirement party from Bake Central.

Then we went to Beck's home in Aberdeen. They just finised their mission on the Church Ranch out here so we went to visit. We loved the boat ride on American Falls reservoir.

We got to visit my Grandpa and Grandma Spencer and Aunt Vickie. Then we went to Cache Valley and visited with Grandpa Israelsen and Aunt Marsha (who fed us sooo yummy) and Aunt Jill & her new grandbabies. We had a great time and loved seeing family and friends.
