Flower garden helpers....

Evan tilled the dirt (and may have taken out some tulips and columbines with his Mantis...but the dirt was great!),

Hyrum watered (the plants and himself),

Riley planted and stepped on flowers,

Lindsay crawled on the flowers and ate dirt.

I love my helpers! (PS- by the time these pics were taken, the older two had abandoned me to go help their dad with "fun" stuff and to ride horses. Traitors. At least Lindsay loves me...or can't go with dad yet...)

Hy Graduated!

Woohoo! he was ready to be done with school after Christmas Break! He had a fun year and accomplished a lot with the help of his teachers.

Here he is with Mrs. Wight! According to Poppa Bernie, now that he is graduated, all his worries are over. According to his dad, he is ready to start a full-time job. well, he is shaving.... :)

Princess is 4!

The Princess is awake and doesn't want to eat her "Dora" cereal. She wants presents!

It's the pink Aurora dress that she knew she was getting! yay!

Playing with Lindsay...as long as Lindsay follows the rules.
This picture wasn't even staged. Ok, it was.
The party with cousins, Elliott & Logan, and Olivia & Kylie

And I got video footage of her opening presents as well but it is on a camera phone or somewhere that I can't find. It stinks when you have 10 devices to try to capture the "moment". Oh well.

The best birthday present for Riley was that she got a new cousin when Aunt Sara and Uncle JC had baby Colin on the same day as Ri's b-day. yay!

Lindsay Bug

...likes to get into all my cupboards and pull out things. It is especially successful if she finds dry bread crumbs to eat.
At 14 months, she is walking! Whoo whoo! She is still VERY cautious and if the distance is too far, she drops to her knees. She points to her eyes, nose, mouth, and "pretty hair".  She signs "more" and "food" and usually does those two signs together :)  She eats what she likes very well; but if she doesn't like it, she'll drop it off her high chair and onto the floor.
And she loves to go riding. This wasn't her first ride, probably her third, but it is the first one I had my camera out. She doesn't like to hold onto anything, she sit there!

Riley's 1st Primary Talk

For some reason, Hyrum & Riley were scheduled to give talks on the same day...very unusual for our big primary. But it was nice because then we got them done with! It was Riley's first talk. She did really well...other than picking her nose while she was waiting for her turn. Lovely.  Riley talked about Joseph Smith's First Vision and how Heavenly Father hears and answers her prayers too. Hyrum told about Pres. Monson's last Conference talk on obedience and how he started a fire with his buddy when they weren't supposed to.
And, her royal highness, enjoys sitting in Hyrum's booster seat. It is her little throne.
