Jackson Hole

Dad & Mom got a time share for a place in Jackson Hole for a week. I tried to get Ev to go with me. He said no. I tried the Relief Society Presidency. They popped and fizzled. So, dad and mom finally made time as did Decca one weekend and they invited me and the little minions to go with them. So we did. I actually got to ride the Harley to Bear World. Decca got the scenic route to Jackson Hole. Such is life.

Cute bear cubs wrestling each other at Bear World.
Kelsey and I wore our Mama Bear and Baby Bear shirts.
Our "hike" in Jackson by Jenny Lake. It was the LoToJa bike race and there were a TON of people. But the weather was perfect. Apparently there were a lot of bears in the area as well, so we were a little nervous. If I ever go to Jackson again, I need to take my bike!!!!
 Photo Op!
 Me and my girls
Decca and I went to Bubba's Bar-b-que for some ribs. Oh...they were good.

EISF 2015 and a Wolf (Aowooooooooo!)

Poppa Jeff took us to the Blackfoot fair. Since Hy & Ri were in school, we just took the younger two. They milked a fake cow, saw a pink tractor and got AWESOME cowgirl hats!
Hyrum got his Wolf! Yes!  And it was a fun pack meeting with spraying the fire hose to boot. Congrats Buzzy!

Ami & Justin's Wedding, Part 2

So, because of my lack of preparation, I actually missed the sealing ;( I was so bummed. Again, because of my procrastination, I missed out. I was glad Evan got to go in. The kids and I enjoyed the a/c...and the visitor's center.

My favorite in-laws and the groom and bride.
L to R: Jake, Andi, Marty, Missy, LaVell, Vicki, Riley, Justin, Ami, Bernie, Kalene, Hyrum, Aunt Jill, Aunt Ethel, Me, Ev (holding a melting Jibbers and a fried Machi-machi).
At the reception. It started raining. that helped with the heat. A little.
This is a momentous moment! The last time the original six were together was at our wedding...12 years ago! Kalene, Karma, Ami & Justin, Amber, Evan & Wayne.
Basically, the whole clan! Woo hoo! Love our family. So grateful for Ami who was willing to join this crew!

Justin & Ami's wedding, Part 1

The DAY AFTER school started, we were summoned to attend a wedding for Justin and Ami. Seriously, these brides and grooms never ask the schedule of a sister to see if the timing is good for us.....   ;)

We started our journey and stopped at Cove Fort in central Utah. It was pretty fun. We probably stayed a little longer than we should have, but it was good.
Next stop, Enterprise to a delicious dinner provided by Brandon & the kids (Amber was at a meeting or something).
Kelsey was glad to meet Chuck (which was good because he died in November :(  ).

Bright and early, we visited Uncle Steven's grave.
And I just LOVE this pic of our family getting ready for family prayers. It's usually a little more....um.....lopsided? But this was actually really sweet!
And we are WIMPS. The Mesa heat basically smothered us and killed all of us...the only thing that saved us was the shaded pool at the hotel. Yay! We spent about 2 hours in the pool with....
Cousin Tenesa & Christian! Yay! They came from another suburb of Phoenix all the way down to see us and be with us. It was so much fun.
We found a striking food van painted like a pig. Riley wants to drive something like that to high school.

Last day of Summer, first day of school

Cousin Twinners in La Fiesta dresses. Allison and Lindsay once wore these!
I took the kids in the Grandmummsie mobile up to eight-mile for a "picnic." It was pretty durn dusty at the end of it.
 Where we live!
Dad had an auction for the Willett farm. Basically, it was a bust :/ Come to find out later, Hyrum had been praying that it wouldn't sell. I, personally believe that had something to do with it.

When Hy and Ri got home from school I got their back-to-school pics. Hy is in 3rd grade with Ms. Alexandra Ready.
Riley is in 1st grade with Mr. Marty Beyler.

Jibbers and Machi-machi are holy terrors in the Busy Izzy Pre-K with Allison Schumann.  The end.

Dog days of Summer

It took almost a year, but I finished painting and redoing the girls' room.

 "Kelsey, show us your muscles!"
Ev was the round robin judge for sheep this year at the Cassia County Fair. He did so good and was so good looking out there ;)
Pizza on a cold evening with Poppa & Grandmummsie before school started at Lake Cleveland.

Last Sleepover at Grandma Spencer's

While the boys were in the Wind Rivers, the girls and I went to Grandma Spencer's house and spent the night....and I'm so glad we did. She ended up selling her home in Blackfoot 3 months later. The next morning, I got up and "wogged" to the cemetery to visit my grandpas and Aunt Rita and a few great-grandparents!

I remember that carpet from when I was a little girl and the toys the girls are playing with the same ones that I played with.

The gold dome of the Blackfoot swimming pool. Grandma went swimming with me & the girls and we went sliding and everything! We loved it.
 Muscle girls!!

Wind Rivers

Poppa Bernie has always wanted to take his boys to the Wind Rivers. Evan & Hy were the only two that could make it, but they had a ball! They got tons of pics, but I just chose a few of my favorites:

Bernie trying to take a picture of the boys with a smartphone. I think this is the first selfie he's ever taken! Probably the only...
The parking lot at the beginning of the week. By Friday, this place was packed.
How cowboys like to go to the swimming hole.
 Hy fishing with Poppa Bernie.
