Mrs. Pickering

I am still recovering from Jessica's wedding. It was busy busy. Here are some candid shots from my camera...Jessica and Steve cutting the cake. Jessica's and Steve's niece and nephews (Hyrum, Elliott, baby Maddie, and Trace).

Yay for pregnant bellies, Hyrum and Ev sporting their flashy purple ties.

And SISTERS! I don't know where Sara was for this picture, but here are the rest of us. It was great and so neat to be able to watch Decca go through the temple and marry her hunk of a man Stev-o, but I am glad to be home :)

Random

Sibling rivalry already?? My good friend Erin sent me some baby girl stuff in the mail. Hyrum found it and decided he needed to be the baby. Although the binky and bib are pink, that bib had John Deere tractors on it. I mean, Hy doesn't care what color anything is if it has "Deere trackchers" on it.
Hy on his pony Jasper. (Yeah, it is a pony, but it is a bigger one that adults can ride).

Hy with his dog Chuck digging post holes for when his Grandpa Bernie comes out. For his Easter/spring gift, we got him a shovel, a rake and a hoe...he was sooo excited about it. He is definitely an Israelsen man.

Hy's Room

I painted Hy's room in October and would consider it "mostly done" now. It sat in a state of halfway done for a LONG time. Thanks to my incredibly crafty neighbor, Amber who can fix, saw, nail, and help me get projects done. Evan is grateful to Amber as well, so he doesn't have to do my long list of "honey-dos".

It's supposed to be barn/tractor/farmbooy looking.

So...my question to all you moms out there: I'm planning on having Hyrum and the new baby share a room. I'll keep the baby in my room for about 2-3 months in a bassinet and then put her in the room. Does it work? Or do I need to make our guest room the new baby's room?

More Projects...

I haven't blogged b/c I don't think I have anything really exciting to blog about. So I'm just showing some projects that I have done.
#1-My babies...
#2-My shelf reliance shelf in the beginning...
#3-....and my new shelves after Evan came home and helped me put it up! Yay for food storage!!!!
#4-Hyrum being forced to hug my most favorite project that I'm working on :)
Things are good and busy. The plan is that tomorrow they'll start shearing sheep and so from here on out, Ev will be a busy Izzy. :)
