JJR: Music and the Spoken Word

I didn't get any pictures, but we (Dad, Mom, Me, Jessica, Janeen, Rick & Steve) got to go watch the Mo Tab sing. It was amazing! I had never been before, but I loved it. A live performance is incredible-I LOVED the music. I think my favorite song was "Somewhere" from West Side Story, but every song was neat. I even got to see my old roommate, Caroline Coats.  Thanks to Ev for taking charge of the ninos so that I could enjoy it!

JJR: Hogle Zoo

This was probably Evan's & the kids' favorite place. I had to wake up Riley to see the "elf-a-lants".
Evan with one of his cousins.
 Catching the moment...Janeen & Decca
Hyrum with some of his cousins.
Alex & Hy checking out the rhinos.
Hyrum riding his cousin on the merry-go-round.
Baby Alli (orange shirt), Rick, and Riley on the zebra.
 Riley pushing the boys....
....front view. Alex and Hyrum weren't sure what to think.
 Riley and the polar bear.
Riley loved watching the seals and sea lions and the polar bear.....'s behind.
Right beside the green hat brim, the grizzly bears were playing in the water. That was fun to watch!
Cousins (minus Alli & Lindsay): Logan, Elliott, Hyrum, Alex, and Riley.

JJR: This is the Place State Heritage Park

This was my favorite stop--history with fun stuff for everyone. I wish I would have taken more pics!

Jeff Johnson Reunion: Dino Park

Aunt Neener came home from England! Yay!
I think some kiddos were a little nervous under the mammoth.
 Hy holding his pterodactyl.
Riley...and the boys by the t-rex skeleton.
 Riley holding her triceratops...THREE!
Me by my dino of choice.  I thought this statue probably depicted a mother...either protecting her young or being woken up by her young. I also liked the "saggy-never-get-your-body-back-post-pregnancy" belly that this dinosaur had as well.
 Hy scared for his life!
Lindsay and her dinosaur. I don't know why this is her dino.
 Neener in an AWKWARD position.
 Ride 'em cowgirl
Yee-haw. Both have their imaginary ropes.
 Cousin shot.
 Playing in the dino skull.
Bronc-in' out a dino, Hyrum gangnam style.
Ev and Lindsay under the AWKWARD dino.
This statue totally has "MOM!" written all over it!

Loves!

Hyrum & Riley w/ Chocolate Milk mustaches.
Riley "trained" her kitty to be held.  This is the kitten, "Striper" from her birthday. He was wild. But through Riley's cat-whispering techniques. He is a docile thing!

Fun with the Beck's

We got to visit the Beck's over General Conference Weekend. Of course we paid perfect attention:

The Beck's were missionaries on the Cleveland Ranch. Last year, Sis Beck was in a bad car accident. From major surgeries, to a wheelchair, to crutches, to a walker (she couldn't stand a cane) she is now walking fairly well.  She still cooks amazingly and we were the beneficiaries of that! Love these guys:)
