Mrs. Izzy's Preschool

We had our first day of school today and I'm so excited! Austin is 4 and my only preschool student and Hy is my "helper" and gets to color and stuff. I love preschool and am so excited to do it this year. I always feel there is so much more I could be doing. There really is just so much out there and so many fun things to do that I'm sure I could never do it all. We'll see how this first year goes.

White Pine County Fair

Here is the crew shearing the sheep right before the fair. Amongst the shearing (done by Ev and Brandon), you see puppies, children and other lambs waiting to be sheared/shorn?

Ashlee placed 1st in her class and Amanda 3rd. They did awesome for their first year. I was really glad for the experience of being a "leader" (I didn't do much), but I learned what Ev did growing up and now I know why Ev is all excited for Hy to turn 6 and be a "Clover Bud" so he can start showing. :)

Dog days of summer

Class Reunion and GREAT Grandparents!

I kept forgetting my camera at the reunion events!! All I can say, for those of you that couldn't come is the Class of '99 just keeps lookin' better and better. It was fun to see old classmates and friends.
Riley got to meet Gr. Grandma and Grandpa Spencer in Blackfoot. In fact, it was her first time in Idaho and she LOVED it ;) These are my maternal grandparents. She also got to meet Gr. Grandpa Floyd Israelsen, Ev's Grandpa.

And this....is Hy on Ev's old shetland pony, Cinnamon. This pony is over 20 years old and filled with "pi** and vinegar" as Ev would say. She is the one that ran away with Ev, his dad, and his brother, Justin in downtown Snowflake. Even the night we took this picture, she was considering bucking Ev's cousin James off! I guess Ev's theory about old age is right: the ornery you are the longer you live!
