She's gettin' married in the morning...

Well...not in the morning but on March 27. My little sister Jessica is getting married to Steve Pickering! And guess what? They are going to be moving to the ranch out here in the middle of nowhere. I had no idea that one of my sisters would live in Spring Valley, NV.

In some ways, I'm not shocked. I always thought she'd get married quickly out of high school. But in other ways, I'm just thinking, "My little sister is getting married! She's only like 9!" Remember on "Father of the Bride" when he imagines his little daughter, Annie as a 5 year old saying, "I met a man in Rome and we're getting married..." Sometimes I think of Decca as that ;)This is a picture of the day he proposed to her in St. George. You should see the bling, bling on her fing! I hope she doesn't lose her ring like her older sister tends to do. They are very cute together.

I am happy for the two of them and so excited to have a sister around! No matter how grown up she is, she will always be my widdo sistah.

Family Getaway

This weekend we went to Ogden and got a chance for a Family Vaca... Evan got to go watch one of his very favorite horse trainers do a clinic, Clinton Anderson. He really is a good horse trainer and he teaches really well--even I understand him.

Hyrum and I got to have our own party. We went and visited my old roommate, Janae and my high school amiga, Amy (see their blogs on right). Hyrum had fun with their kids and loved making messes in their cute, new homes.... Thanks you two! I had fun visiting you ;)

Mom and Dad came up to Ogden and we went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner--yummy! So, we just had a nice weekend to get away and relax. :)

FHE Chart

Yesterday I made a new FHE chart with Evan and Hy's help. Please note in picture #1 the prego belly and pic #2 is the "after" with a baby girl. I was so proud of myself for that one. The little knight "Hyrum" is carrying a blue blankie as well. As for Evan's....well he just did such a great job coloring! I asked him when it last was that he had colored something and he couldn't remember ;)

We are having a girl!!! We're so excited. Even Evan, who was positive it was another boy is excited for his little girl. Things look really good in the ultrasound and we are half way through!! Only 4 1/2 months and a HUGE belly away ;)

Bedtime stories

Who doesn't love a good bedtime story....or a tractor sales magazine?? This one goes to Grandpa! (Hy has been going to bed in his big boy bed lately!)

Slightly darker...

I had Jenny put low-lights in my hair but she only had the color that was either the exact color of my hair or just slightly darker. Can you tell? I hate taking pictures of myself...
