Someday I'll miss this...

....those pigtails that bounce when she runs and the blankies.
Hy showing me his new trick (Tank going through his legs).
Cray-cray sleeping positions...in MY room!
Toothless grins and lots of hugs & loves.
I might even miss the 4,307 piles of constant laundry that needs folded.  Deep breath. Love the little ones.

Corgis, TOPS, & the curly hairs

So I'm part of TOPS (taking off pounds sensibly) and love our TOPS group. I feel like more than a weight-loss group it is a healthy life style group just helping us eat better and move more. This summer, we went on hikes and I loved it! Current members are: Rosanne Rex, Loralee Hansberger, Kimberly Gilbert, the Mummsie, Me & Margie (on the bottom pic). We have a good time together. Currently, Kim & I exercise at 5:30 am with T-25. Its a good workout!

In this pic, we went up behind the "R" mountain.
Here we are at the Grush Dairy office where we do weigh-ins and have our weekly mtgs.
And this was our Lake Cleveland hike. I hope we do it again next summer.
Kimberly's daughters are known as the "curly hairs". We watched them at Storybook Park one day.
Top, L to R: Hy, Audrey, Jibbers, Hannah, Leah, Lindsay. Middle: Sadee, Jennie, Riley. Hy is the same age as Audrey, Riley the twins, Lindsay as Leah. Jeb would have been the same age as Jennie and then we got a Jibbers. Its pretty fun and they are sweet girls.
In my quest for health, I would run up along the BLM. One day, I did the full 1.5 miles and turned around and there was old meat laying there. Of course, the corgis started chewing on it. I reached down to pull Herbie away and Muzzy tried to bite him for me and bit me instead! And she must of broken a blood vessel because check out that lump! I ended up getting antibiotics, but it didn't even break skin, so..... I don't know. Dang Muzzy! We knew that when we got her she was 'dog-aggressive" but I wasn't impressed when she got me!

But right before I got home, Lindsay saw me and ran to me ....

with a bouquet of dandelions! Totally melted my heart. Love my Linz.

4th of July and Uncle Justin visits

Fun at the Malta celebration.
In this pic, our babysitter Lexi, is riding with Ri & Linz

Uncle Justin surprised us with a visit at Gma's house. How fun!
And then, a few weeks later, we met Justin & Ami at Shoshone Falls a few weeks before they were married for a picnic. It was so much fun! Hopefully we can make  few more memories with them while they live in Idaho.

Two Reunions and a Tooth

My Aunt Ruth Kidd reserved Kate's in-laws' pond for our Family Reunion in Burley. It's called Harris Pond. So. much. fun!!! We loved it. Hyrum and Riley were like little fish out in the water with the kayaks and canoes and boats. There was a rope swing and a slide. It was just so much fun. I had popped my shoulder out a little bit earlier, so I was pretty cautious with it, but we still had a blast. Sadly, Evan couldn't make it, but the kids and I loved it.

Riley started getting her two front teeth loose and could make some pretty goofy faces.

By mid-July, when we went to the Israelsen Reunion, she bit into a carrot and POP! out came her tooth!
(End Result:)
We loved the Israelsen reunion in Logan Canyon. So pretty up there. We slept (not very well) in a tent by Pulsiphers. Evan and Kelsey ended up in the lodge...it was pretty chilly. Olivia slept in our tent by Riley. There are a lot of 2nd cousins about my kids age so it is fun! We loved doing the skits that Aunt LaDean wrote up about Israelsen relatives. And the food was great!

The next morning, we drove by Grandpa Floyd's farm and took a picture by the pine tree that Poppa Bernie brought out of the Wind Rivers a long time ago!

Stevie's Visit: Spencer Reunion - 4th of July

We had our first cousin visitation for a week while Decca did some classes at school. Stevie stayed with us from the Spencer Family Reunion to 4th of July. Although she did end up a little worse for wear, the overall visit was a success. We had to work on Kelsey's biting, hitting, and overall general attitude when it came to her little cousin :)

We trained Stevie to help with chores.
Wearing red and white on Canada Day!
 "Delicately" eating a graham cracker.
"Aunt Jen put this on me and I feel like an idiot!"
The cousin twins on a stroller ride.
We love our Stevie Dawn!

My children make me laugh!

Lindsay is showing me the "L" she made out of Legos...but I love the shirtless Jibbers strutting around in the background.
We were running through the sprinklers at the Bingham's, when Lindsay told me that she had to go to the bathroom. I told her to go behind the trees. Apparently, that means "in-between" the two giant trees and MOON everyone!!
 Riley, Kelsey & Cousin Colin
Riley (again) showing us her "owie" on her finger.
The kids playing in the sprinklers
Colin came and I didn't have any boy swimming shirts his size, so I put Kelsey's on him back wards.
Jibbers loves to put on her Dad's LONG socks and walk around in them!

Our favorite babysitter, Lexi Gardiner, helped the kids make origami shirts for Evan for Father's Day--the kids adore her and she is a fantastic babysitter.
Stylin' Jibbers with her styling' goggles.
You always need to be safe with your helmet on.
Riley and Lindsay have great hopes for competing in Jr. Miss someday.
Lindsay showing me her "new" jacket from Allison Schumann and Jibbers wanted to be in the picture....shirtless again.
